Hi Darlings!

I haven't had the time to post photos of my work outfit since I'm always rushing to go to work. So today, when I got home, i took some pictures because I have a story to tell about my outfit.

We usually call this day laid back Thursday where my colleagues and I are a little bit casual. Every company has its dress codes and for us, it's Smart Casual/Business outfit from Monday to Thursday and the very much awaited Casual Fridays. Since it's already Thursday, I was kind of feeling lazy and so to speak, not really in the mood for dress-up. I opted for a more comfortable outfit: Cropped shirt, maxi skirt and sandals (not my usual style).

Ok, you can see it yourself it's a laid back Thursday for me, maybe too laid back. Here's the story behind this outfit:

ME from Break - entered the door - said Hi to ladyguard - then ladyguard said hi and..
LADYGUARD: Ms. Val, tawag ka sa local number ko. may sasabihin ko.
ME: Ano un ate? wala un unit ko.

Anyway, HR called ladyguard and asked her to tell me to report to them immediately. I talked to the ladyguard and it's about my CROPPED shirt! Oh Crap! hahaha. This is not an isolated case for me. i'm used to it. Not to give you the wrong impression, I dont break rules or step out of boundaries at work. It's just that I always manage to catch their attention with my outfit either too short skirt or dress but this is new: CROPPED SHIRT Really?!

I'm not the only one who wears mini skirts, short dresses or cropped top, most of the time HR is just being unreasonable when they want to give me memos for my outfit. Yes memo. (Meron silang favoritism)

Ladyguard said I have Three choices:
a. change my top (at the very moment?!)
b. go home and change then go back to work
c. Sign my memo

To make the long story short, I answered none of the above :) Ofcourse I didnt want ate guard to get in trouble or argue about my outfit. Instead, I pulled my skirt up until my waist and tucked my shirt in! I had no idea how it looks like but ate guard is nice and I don t want to stress her out because of ME. Ofcourse they didnt give me the MEMO and even if they did, I wont sign it, for what grounds? My stomach shows when I move or raise my arms a bit? so I did what I had to do to save everyone else from the trouble I would have caused.

"tuck your shirt in or else!"

Maybe it's a bit inappropriate for work so I rest my case :)

This is the continuation of my last post about what to wear for Philippine Fashion week. Alot of you like the second outfit which was Kim Kardashian inspired, although I didn't wear it and change my mind the last minute, I loved my final outfit nonetheless.

It was a glamorous night with my lovely friends. From PFW @SMX to Resorts World then a night of partying at REPUBLIQ. From VIP Seats at Oxygen S/S 2012 FSHOW to awesome spot at Republiq.
